What Happened to Firefly Recovery After Shark Tank.
In Season 16, Anthony Kjenstad and Lauren Campbell walked onto Shark Tank with Firefly Recovery, a wearable device that helps active people heal faster. They asked for a $500,000 investment for 2.5% of their business.
Traditional recovery tools like compression boots are bulky, forcing athletes to sit still. Firefly is a lightweight, portable alternative that straps to the leg and stimulates a nerve to increase blood flow. Backed by Olympic champion Kerri Walsh Jennings, the founders shared impressive financial numbers: $7.5 million in lifetime sales.
While Mark Cuban worried everyday customers wouldn't want to buy a new $48 device every month, Lori Greiner and Rashaun Williams saw a great purchase opportunity. They shook hands on a $500,000 deal for 5% equity.
However, after four months of checking the details, the deal fell through because Firefly didn't own its intellectual property. Despite this, the company kept growing independently. Firefly is now the Official Recovery Partner of USA Boxing, and by 2025, its estimated net worth reached around $16 million—proving that people are eager to pay the price to feel their best!
