What Happened to Beard King After Shark Tank?
In 2015, Nicholas and Alessia walked onto Shark Tank with a fun idea called Beard King. They made a smart beard bib that keeps sinks clean. They asked for a $100,000 investment for 20% of their business. With each bib costing only $7 to make and a retail price of $29, they were already seeing great sales. After a cool viral video, shark Lori Greiner offered $100,000 for 51%, which they cleverly negotiated down to 45%. Even though that TV deal did not close, the huge exposure caused a massive sales jump. Their net worth skyrocketed as the brand turned into a global success. Later, a smart business purchase happened. In 2019, the original founders made a business sale to Raj Patel. By 2022, after more great business growth, Patel made a major company sale to Thrasio. Beard King proved that a low-cost item can turn into a huge money-making machine!
