Validating the health of the antenna coil and tuning condenser (tuning capacitor) to ensure it resonates across the BC band using my LC Tester circuit. I have a shorted tuning condenser on the lower half of the band that will require attention.
Reverse Engineering the Hayakawa Radio MFG Co. Power Transformer (late 1930s) from Japan to understand the approximate number of turns that were used for the primary and secondary windings, etc.

Need help translating the wording on the multi-section vintage electrolytic capacitor in the Antique Hayakawa Radio MFG Co. (Sharp) Japan Late 1930s. On the side view, it is stamped EC8. There are 4 sections and one common ground to chassis. I would like to confirm the capacitance values for each section and working voltages. Thank you kindly.
Join me as I attempt to restore this rare 4 Tube Regenerative Receiver (Nami-Yon) from around 1938 to 1939 from Japan. The tube complement for the receiver:
UY-56 - Regenerative Detector
UX-26B - Audio Frequency Amplifier
UX-12A - Output Power Amplifier
KX-12F - Rectifier Half-Wave
Thanks for watching and subscribing to my channel on vintage radio repair and other related circuits.
