200 year old Georgian hall, stairs and landing:
5 storeys.
70 steps.
150 spindles.
And Christmas is the deadline.

This is by far the largest single-job I have ever undertaken.
The sheer size of it, mixed with what actually needs to be done prep wise, before I can even pick up a paintbrush, is mindblowing as a one man band.
I have drafted in Dad for as many days as I can get him, but he has his own work too, so I put him to good use where I can!
There will be some ups and downs, and even as I write this, I have had one of those days that I am doubting myself and if I can deliver it for christmas. But tomorrow is a new day and new energy.
This project is for Nick Auston design, who has put together a stunning scheme and wallpaper combo, his eye for detail are second to none, and it’s always a pleasure working for him as I know everything will just look outstanding once finished and dressed.

I would love for you all to follow this journey as I turn this landlord special, into something very special!
What are you looking forward to seeing me transform the most? And do you believe I will get it over the line in time for christmas? I need you all on my side for this one
