With everyone complaining about sharpness, diffraction no longer seems like a fault, but rather a feature. Most importantly, the contrast, color, and image quality improvements are more significant than people are talking about. Cinema is too much about lighting and cameras now, and I’ve noticed that filmmakers care more about being technicians than artists. I think this is really the wrong approach.
