The SONOFF NSPanel Pro was always an interesting idea, but for me it never quite made it into permanent use.
It was a little too large for most of the places I wanted to install it, and performance wasn't quite where I wanted it to be for a wall-mounted smart home dashboard.

Now SONOFF is back with the NSPanel Pro Gen2, and this time things are different.

The new model fits a standard UK single-gang back box, includes dual relay outputs for direct lighting control, and has significantly upgraded hardware with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage.

In this video I install it in my upstairs landing, replace my existing ZemiSmart smart switches, integrate it with Home Assistant, and see whether the performance improvements finally make it worthy of a permanent place in my smart home.
