Should You Train To Failure

The Old School answer: "Train to failure on everything. That's how Dorian and Ronnie got jacked."

Sure. But the examples you're using are at the top 0.001% of lifters.

For most lifters: train to failure on the right exercises where skill is low.

Bicep curl, isolation work, machines → yes. Go close to failure or past it.
Squat, deadlift, the big compounds → no. Leave reps in reserve.

The pattern matters more than the burn. Break the pattern under heavy load and you're not training — you're auditioning for an injury.

Different exercises. Different demands. Different rules.

Old school work ethic + better understanding = Win.

Train hard, eat well and supplement smart,
