Most people get into prepping because of the exciting stuff. Bug out bags, survival gear, EMPs, and disaster scenarios.

But after years of doing this, I've learned that real preparedness is actually pretty boring.

The truth is that being prepared is less about buying more gear and more about maintaining what you already have. Rotating food, replacing batteries, updating first aid kits, organizing supplies, and keeping your plans current aren't exciting, but they're the things that make the biggest difference when an emergency happens.

In this video, I share why the mundane side of preparedness is often the most important, and why consistency beats collecting gear every time.
