I Accidentally Found A Boring Skill Making $3,196/Month

Digital product side hustle ideas don’t have to start with AI hacks, quitting your job, or learning a brand-new skill. In this video, I break down how one “boring” skill turned into $3,196/month by selling a simple $47 digital product.

If you’ve been worried about layoffs, feeling like your skills are too basic, or watching endless make-money-online videos without starting, this is for you. You’ll learn how to identify a skill you already use at work or at home, turn it into a template, guide, roadmap, spreadsheet, SOP, or short training, and promote it without relying on Etsy, Amazon, or the YouTube Partner Program.

The case study in this video is Reed Maddox, who made $3,196 selling spreadsheet templates from Microsoft Excel skills he already used every day. The math is simple: a $47 product sold to 68 people per month. More importantly, the process is simple: find the boring skill, package the solution, own the customer, and use YouTube to get in front of people who need the exact problem solved.

Watch until the end because I reveal the real example, the weekend build plan, and why a digital product side hustle can create cash flow without going viral or burning everything down. You’ll also see why “common” skills are not actually common, and how one Saturday can become the start of a product you can sell again and again.

Comment below with the boring skill people already ask you for help with. Is it spreadsheets, processes, training, budgeting, reporting, planning, or something else?
