Dark Arts Whiskey House was the belle of the ball last year at the Kentucky Bourbon Festival with constant and often times the longest lines to their booth for both trying samples and to buy bottles. This year, at the 2026 KBF, Dark Arts has expanded their festival only offerings by bringing in six unique whiskeys. We're bringing you all the details by previewing two bottles each over the next 3 episodes. Today we're exploring the one single barrel of the lot, a 9-year Bourbon finished in Oloroso Sherry casks that was selected by members of KBF. This bottle is cask strength at 118.4 proof and will sell for $99.99.
Next we're talking a look at their most premium bottle, the Chief Alchemist Reserve, a 19-year KY Straight Bourbon Whiskey that was finished in Japanese Mizunara oak casks. It's cask strength at 115 proof and will sell for $500.
