Thanks to Michter's Distillery for sharing these bottles of Bomberger's Declaration and Shenk's Homestead with us! Bomberger's Declaration is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that uses custom-toasted and charred Chinquapin and Hungarian oak barrels air-dried from 3 years. It's 108 proof and has a suggested price of $120.
Shenk's Homestead is a Kentucky Sour Mash Whiskey partially finished in toasted, non-charred, French oak barrels from the Vosges region alongside 60-month air-dried American Oak. It is 91.2 proof and has suggested price of $110.
Welcome back to "Short and Sweet", where the reviews are (usually) short, and it's very sweet of those who share their whiskey with us!
