Is YouTube automation a scam? Here are this channel's real numbers, pulled from the YouTube Analytics API, not from screenshots.

30 DAYS (Aug 29 - Sep 27, 2026)
Videos uploaded: 236
Views: 61,456
Watch hours: 237
New subscribers: 118
Money earned: $0 (the channel is not monetized yet)

WHAT IT TAKES TO GET PAID
The YouTube Partner Program needs 1,000 subscribers plus 4,000 public watch hours in 12 months (or 10 million Shorts views in 90 days). This channel is nowhere near that after a month, and most of its views come from Shorts, whose watch time does not count toward the 4,000 hours.

SO IS IT A SCAM?
The tools work: videos get made, uploaded and watched. What does not work is the promise of money in a month. If someone sells that, they are selling the course, not the channel.

THE QUERY
metrics="views, estimatedMinutesWatched, subscribersGained" on the Analytics API reports endpoint, for the last 30 days that have complete data.

What should I automate next? Tell me in the comments.
