Let's start with someone borrowing against a fortune in stock, then look at the person whose taxes come out before their paycheck arrives. Both arrangements are built out of law. Who gets the options?

I work through Marx's working day, Deleuze and Guattari, the argument over state capitalism, and what the New Deal actually gave people. I want to know who can act together, who controls investment, and what makes a right something you can use.

From there I look at worker councils, housing, and institutions that let people keep changing the terms. Some are existing experiments; the driver council is a proposal. What can people do now that they couldn't do before?

You don't have to wait for the next New Deal to start. Find one thing in your life you want to change, and one other person dealing with it.
