This Tiny Gap Lets In Water, Bugs & Cold Air In Your Home!

That tiny gap where your wall sheathing meets the foundation can become an easy entry point for water, bugs, cold air, and unwanted drafts. In this video, I’ll show you 2 different ways to seal the bottom of ZIP System sheathing and help protect your home before the colder, wetter fall and winter months arrive.

I’ll be using ZIP System Liquid Flash and SIGA Fentrim 430 to show how each method can create a better transition between the sheathing and foundation. Properly sealing this area can help improve your home’s weather resistance, air sealing, energy efficiency, and pest protection.

If you’re building, remodeling, replacing siding, or just trying to tighten up your home’s exterior, this is one detail you definitely don’t want to overlook.
