For most engineers, getting into ISRO is the dream. For Pawan K Chandana, it was the launchpad.

Speaking to Shereen Bhan on Young Turks Reloaded, the Skyroot Aerospace Co-founder shares why he left ISRO to build a private rocket company from scratch - at a time when India had no private space policy and SpaceTech funding was almost non-existent.

What began as an idea discussed with his roommate and future Co-founder Naga Bharath Daka has since become Skyroot Aerospace, India's first SpaceTech unicorn and the company behind Vikram-1, India's first privately developed orbital rocket.
