Everyone loves gifts, but not everyone is ready for what they can bring. What if a gift turns out to be not just a surprise, but something that can permanently change someone's life?

"The Gift" is a Russian comedy-drama series consisting of 10 short novellas, each exploring the unexpected consequences of gifts given and received. From precious boxes left by a father in prison to meaningful surprises that reveal hidden truths about family, love, and forgiveness — every story reveals how a simple present can become a journey into the past, a bridge between generations, or a catalyst for life-changing decisions.

These interconnected tales of love, nostalgia, and redemption show that the most valuable gifts are often the ones we never expected to receive. Some gifts bring warmth and connection; others reveal painful secrets. But all of them remind us that behind every present lies a story worth discovering.
