*recipe*
2 pounds ground beef
1 onion
1 large green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons oregano or Italian seasoning
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
4 cups beef broth
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon pepper
salt to taste
3 cups cooked rice
Monterety jack cheese and parsley for serving if desired.
