Did Jelly Roll go too far roasting Donald Trump while filling in for Jimmy Kimmel?

Jelly Roll turned his own dramatic weight-loss story into a shot at Trump, called both himself and the president “fat pigs,” then landed a very personal punchline.

That’s what makes the argument interesting. Trump has never exactly been shy about insulting other people, while Jelly deliberately included himself in the joke. Does that make the roast fair game, or is this another celebrity stepping onto Jimmy Kimmel’s stage and doing the same predictable political comedy viewers have heard a thousand times?

Was Jelly Roll actually funny here, or did he cross the line?
