It’s Called the ‘Blacklight’… But There’s NO UV?! | NIWALKER N50S

Check out the Niwalker N50S flashlight in this full review and outdoor beam test! The N50S packs up to 1,800 lumens with a claimed throw distance of up to 965 meters, while offering the flexibility to run either an 18650 or 18350 battery. But there’s one thing about this flashlight that immediately caught my attention—the “Blacklight” name. Despite what that name might suggest, there’s no UV or blacklight function on the N50S!
In this video, we take a complete look at the Niwalker N50S, including its aluminum construction, crenulated bezel, magnetic tail cap, single-emitter setup, side-switch interface, and those deep cooling grooves around the head. We’ll also compare the 18650 and 18350 configurations and discuss why I prefer the longer 18650 setup for the additional grip and significantly improved runtime.
Then we head outside for a real-world nighttime beam test to see what the N50S can actually do. We test its 10-lumen moonlight/firefly mode, low, medium, high, and full 1,800-lumen Turbo mode, while checking out the hotspot, usable spill, throw, and heat management. Those cooling fins appear to do their job—the N50S handled extended Turbo use surprisingly well during my testing.
