Trying to make money with AI in 2026? You’ve probably seen videos promising that one prompt, one AI tool, and a few clicks can suddenly make you $500 a day. I’ve actually tried the so-called lazy approach, and there’s a lot those videos leave out.

I’ve used AI to create scripts, images, voices, and even an entire faceless YouTube channel. The process can absolutely work, but simple does not mean effortless. You still have to research topics, develop prompts, create thumbnails, learn what your audience responds to, pay for tools, and consistently publish content.

And there’s an even bigger problem.

If your entire plan to make money with AI depends on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, or another platform paying you for views, you’re building an income stream you don’t fully control. Platforms can change monetization requirements, reduce payouts, alter algorithms, or simply decide that your content doesn’t qualify.

In this video, I explain what I would do instead.

We’ll talk about using AI content to support affiliate marketing, creating simple digital products, monetizing before you qualify for ad revenue, and eventually building a customer base that you can sell multiple products and services to. That’s a much stronger business than hoping your next video goes viral.

I’m not saying AI-generated content is dead. Far from it. I’m saying the opportunity gets much more interesting when AI becomes the tool instead of the entire business model.
