I thought our small house was finally ready for drywall… but I was wrong.

In this episode, we install the exterior front door, get the house fully dried in, test paint colors for faux cedar siding, foam around the door frame, install drywall nailers around HVAC, plumbing, and gas lines, and turn leftover sheathing into attic flooring for storage.

The house still isn’t finished — but with the roof, windows, and door finally in, it’s protected from the weather. It’s not a home yet, but it’s finally starting to feel like a shelter.
