Custom eLearning with ChatGPT Codex: the framework behind a responsive, SCORM-tracked course built without an authoring tool.

This is a full walkthrough of my new course, Creating Custom eLearning with ChatGPT Codex, which is in early bird status right now on learningdojo.ninja. If you already went through Creating Custom eLearning with Claude Code, this covers the same ground for anyone working inside ChatGPT Codex instead.
We start with the ChatGPT settings worth adjusting, then use ChatGPT to design and plan the eLearning player, the menu, the controls, and the page types before feeding any of it back to Codex to build. From there we move into the Codex app itself and set up GitHub Desktop for version control so every course is backed up. Then comes the build: text and image pages, flip card interactions, vertical accordions, modals, sliding trays, carousels, and quiz questions including multiple choice, true or false, fill in the blank, drag and drop, and selection questions, with final results calculated and sent to your learning management system.
The piece that changes everything is pulling all the course content into a JSON file. That is what makes the course templatizable, and it is what lets the language switcher change the entire course on the fly without leaving the page. We also make the player fully responsive so interactions adapt to phones and tablets instead of just shrinking, then wire up tracking through SCORM 1.2 and 2004 and go further with xAPI to capture tab clicks, page time, and everything SCORM leaves behind.
The end goal is not one course. It is a reusable framework: a Word document storyboard you fill out and feed back in, plus a JSON creator tool that works like a mini authoring tool, so the next course becomes a swap of one file.
