I 3D printed a whole D&D city with AI — here’s where the money went.

AI 3D model generation cost around $150. I estimated roughly $400 for materials, including resin, paint and brushes. For the planning and preparation, I think even a $20 ChatGPT subscription could be enough.

Four printers and about three weeks of work later, I had a playable city with buildings you can open and play inside. Pretty crazy what this workflow makes possible.
