Transitioning a young new education ambassador owl to their role at your organization needs to take into account the owl's place of origin and your health protocols. This is an excerpt from our Masterclass on Raising an Ambassador Owl, which includes lessons on proper socialization, environment, diet and many others. Whether you are in a small education facility or a larger zoo, this lesson takes into account many different SOP considerations to get your owl on the right track. All owls featured in this video are under the appropriate state and federal licenses. Photos of Northern Hawk Owls and Great Grey Owls by Simone Lupson-Cook.
