How do Dan Quinn and Jayden Daniels make one of the most basic football situations look THIS complicated?!

The Washington Commanders had 12 seconds left in overtime against the New York Giants, no timeouts, and the ball already at the Giants' 24-yard line. A 42-yard field goal attempt could have won the game.

Instead of spiking the football, Washington ran another play. Daniels was tackled inbounds, the offense couldn't reset in time, and the clock expired.

FINAL SCORE: 27-27.

After blowing a 14-point fourth-quarter lead, the Commanders couldn't even give themselves a chance to kick the winner.
That's a brutal combination of coaching failure and quarterback awareness.

Dan Quinn took responsibility, but should Jayden Daniels have recognized the situation and taken control?

Commanders fans, who deserves the blame for this absolute disaster?
