ChatGPT Sites: Build an App That Quizzes You on Your Notes

ChatGPT Sites just made it possible to build a real, working app inside ChatGPT — so I built one that quizzes me every morning on the notes I took the day before.

Here's the setup. Granola records and transcribes whatever I'm watching or sitting in on, then ChatGPT pulls those notes on a schedule and turns them into a 10-question quiz waiting for me the next day. Multiple choice, a couple of fill-in-the-blanks, and a reflection question at the end that isn't graded — just something to think about applying. Miss one and you see your answer next to the correct one plus feedback, and it all rolls into a history view so you can spot which days you actually retained something.

The whole build happens in Codex. You'll watch me create the project folder, enable the Granola connector so ChatGPT can read the notes (including exactly what that authorization does and doesn't share), write the single prompt that generates the app, and set the schedule so it refreshes at 8am daily. I also cover why you should let ChatGPT finish its own testing before you jump in, how publishing and access control work with ChatGPT Sites, and what to add next — a results dashboard, or study suggestions built from the questions you keep missing.

If you build learning for a living, the quiz isn't really the point. Connectors plus scheduled tasks plus a hosted site means you can vibe code tools that maintain themselves. Swap Granola for Gmail or Office 365 and you've got a daily dashboard instead of a quiz.
