Can an EDC multitool-based kit replace the DIY tool bag I used to drag around for every odd job?

After more than a year of refining this setup, this is where I've got to: a compact, mission-specific toolkit designed to handle as many everyday household jobs as possible — without reaching for the full tool bag.

But this isn't just a pouch full of tools. As the system developed, I realised I kept coming back to the same handful of design principles — ideas about capability, flexibility, redundancy and making every bit of space count.
