Welcome to Day 1 of Blooming Inktober 2026:
Mago by Annie Taylor ✨

00:00 Introduction
04:13 Tangling Mago
07:47 Coloring Mago
12:33 Shading, highlighting, embellishing

This year I decided to use floral and botanical tangles for my daily Inktober videos. I hope that you’ll feel like adding some vibrant colors and joyful shapes into your October, or whenever you find time to draw with me.

I prepared a free PFD handout with the list of tangles and simple step-by-step instructions to draw each of 31 of them. It also contains a detailed supplies list that I’m using to create this floral piece.

You can download the document here:

The alternative is to simply show up every day, watch videos, and let yourself be surprised with my choice of tangles.
