Welcome to a quiet weekend in my life as a software engineer here in South Africa. In this vlog, I take you through a few hours of my weekend coding routine and share my honest thoughts on what AI actually means for developers right now.

We hear a lot about how AI is changing the industry, but instead of relying entirely on external platforms, I want to talk about the value of building your own tools. For me, taking control of the tech removes the anxiety of depending on outside systems and gives you the freedom to drive a workflow that perfectly matches your own goals.

I also share a look at Mora, a tool I am currently building to dial in my own environment. I originally started it just for my own setup, but I am opening it up and would be absolutely delighted if any of you wanted to give it a try.

Drop a comment below and let me know—what AI tools are you currently using to drive your workflow? Are you building anything custom?
